3 2023 DESIGN TRENDS THAT WE ARE OBSESSED WITH—

With a new year comes a lot of predicted design trends that are sometimes way too far stretched. We’ve done our research and checked in with professional designers to curate a short list of promising trends that will be all the rage in 2023 (and for many years afterwards)!

  1. WARM WOODS

"The use of warmer wood tones and an earthy color palette in furniture and fabric will continue to rise." — Krisha Salud, Director of Interiors, StudioLAB

Warm woods have weathered the test of time and proven that they indeed will always circle back. I have always favored wood over painted cabinets, so I’m so excited to see wood go warm again. The use of warm wood with modern furniture still has a traditional aspect that will help the style last far beyond others.

2. GOLD FINISHES

If you have shied away from gold in the past because you felt it was just a fad, it has proven to be a versatile and ever-evolving finish that we all can't get enough of. Fitting in right along with the warm tones, gold accents and finishes that will hopefully replace brushed bronze and most uses of brushed nickel forever.

3. ARCHES

"Rounded door frames, thresholds and ceilings are going to be big in 2023. Arches evoke an old-world architectural era and bring a sense of timelessness and softness to any space." — Lynn Stone, Co-Founder, Hunter Carson Design

Arches don’t only have do be accomplished architecturally; there are numerous furnishings that can bring arches into your space.
