Window Shades
Traditional blinds are an interior design feature of the past. Selecting shades or curtains over blinds automatically makes a space feel more luxurious, comfortable and homey. Plus, many of the newer window treatments are designed with simple hardware that doesn’t involve annoying cords. The wide variety of window shades also provides opportunity to select many different colors, textiles and patterns to compliment any of your interior spaces.
Shades are a perfect choice for minimalistic areas that for the most part thrive off of natural light, but may benefit from having the option of privacy when needed.
Curtains
Curtains offer an opportunity to dress up or dress down an interior space. Floor to ceiling curtains can help make a space feel more spacious, different shades can help create contrast and a variety of textiles can achieve a sophisticated blend that perfectly tops off a room. Some curtains can help achieve a more formal and sophisticated look, while others can make a space look light, airy and comfortable. Neutrals are always a safe bet, and patterns are fun to add to a space that needs a little extra something.
