Oh laundry rooms…the area that we usually close the door to when people come over and cross our fingers they don’t stumble in to see our piled up laundry. But who says we can’t change that and make it a place we want to showcase? Yes, these rooms are constantly being shuffled through, whether its your kids dropping their muddy sports clothing or doing your weekly load of towels. However, there are may tips and tricks to make your laundry room both more functional AND a beautiful space! Here’s what we recommend:

Hampers

Having multiple hampers is a great way to keep clothes separated. It Also gives kids a direct spot without being told for them to put their laundry instead of on the floor in front of the washing machine. There are many cute options for these with patterns and labels!

Storage

Laundry rooms tend to have a lot of random things that need to be stored. Items such as batteries, flashlights, bug spray, and sunscreen tend to be ones we find in laundry room cabinets. Plus, you have your usual soap, dryer balls and other laundry items to contain.

Glass storage containers are an awesome way to hold your dryer balls, laundry pods, and scent booster pellets. Add a scoop and put them on top of your counter and you now have both a functional and cute way to store!

These storage baskets work great in open shelving or within cabinets to organize all of those random items that end up in your laundry room. Add a little tag label to each one to keep items organized and easily accessible!

I always struggled with organizing bottled items until I found these Lazy Susan Turntables. These are life savers for your cabinets- place all your bottles such as fabric sprays on this and spin to find what you need. Say goodbye to shuffling through your cabinet trying to find something!

Decor

Adding decor to your laundry room such as greenery and pictures makes the space feel warm. We spend a lot of time in the laundry room- make it a place you enjoy being!
