Laundry Rooms Need Love Too!

Although laundry rooms are a small portion of a home, they probably are one of the most important. With washing everything from sports uniforms to formal outfits, to becoming your “drop zone” for pretty much anything you don’t have a place for, this room becomes a major component quick. We just completed an amazing laundry room renovation, and are here to share all our tips with you!

  1. Consider New Cabinets

If you don’t have cabinets, or have old existing ones like this project did, consider replacing them with new built-ins. A closet designer can help you maximize storage with a new layout, and will usually provide a 3-D rendering to help visualize your new space.

2. Add Decorative Storage Baskets

Durable baskets are a great way to organize items that aren’t needed everyday, and also hides them from the eye to create a clean, organized space. Sunblock, bug spray, light bulbs, and all the other placeless items now have a new home. I love using these baskets- they come in a set of four and are high quality!

3. Add Artwork and an Area Rug

While this won’t help with storage and organization, it makes the room feel warm and part of the rest of your home. Adding artwork and an area rug will bring color and texture to the space. Here are the items we included in this transformation!
